Graffiti #4 & #5 are two sides of the same coin. These two paintings were created together, but can stand alone. Or together. Or alone.
The Graffiti series paintings all feature the same hallmarks. For starters, they are full of layers. Not only are there visible layers, but each painting is a rework of a prior painting that no longer spoke to me. In the visible layers there are bold swipes of wax, splattered paint, and deep gouges that hint at what lies beneath.
Graffiti #4 is 8"x8" and is wired for hanging.
